Vintage Scottish Hallmarked Silver Dirk Kilt Pin Brooch

A classic Scottish dirk brooch shaped like a miniature Highland dagger. The hilt is topped by a faceted lilac stone in an engraved thistle, Scotland's national flower, with a purple stone and banded stone panels below. The sheath is inlaid with orange and green stones in the traditional Scottish agate style, wrapped in silver mounts engraved with thistle leaves. Hallmarked on the back. Works as a kilt pin, lapel pin or scarf pin. Approx. 2½" × ¼".
