Vintage Sterling Silver Byzantine Chain Necklace

A heavy, round Byzantine chain in solid sterling silver with real weight to it. The tightly woven links are oxidized in the recesses, so the pattern pops and the chain has that dark, lived-in silver look. Each end finishes in a filigree cap with wavy wirework and twisted-rope trim, closing with a hand-formed S-hook clasp stamped 925. 18 inches long and 30 grams, it wears close at the collarbone and sits great on its own or layered.
